The idea of the Harlequin always brings to mind both romance and mystery. The great comedia dell’arte used the character of Harlequin as the pining, light-hearted lover who brought comic relief while pursuing his love Columbina, some tunes in competition with Pierrot. I had originally thought to call this soap ‘Masquerade,’ but I have other plans for that.
In lines with the concept of this nimble, light-hearted Harlequin, the fragrance gracefully dances through light notes of mandarin, apricot, geranium and citrus, while also capturing the mysterious depths of osmanthus, myrrh, labdanum, resin, and geranium. This has been referred to as similar to Lush® brand 1000 Kisses™.
The colors and design play into this whimsical mystery, while giving a nod to aspects of the traditional comedia.
